#107 - Spiritual Reasons
Behind Illness

Just as it is easy to see the ripples in a pond, and the outward manifestation of illness, we need to trace the source back to the root cause.

Uncovering the spiritual reasons underlying accidents, injuries and illnesses.

The late Louise Hay brought about a workable list of spiritual reasons behind various maladies.

Questioning what is underlying the illness or the discomfort that we are experiencing?

It's worthwhile pursuing this, because on the outside we can clearly see:

"Yes, I've got a broken arm."

"I've got cold and flu symptoms."

"I'm having heart palpitations."

Yes, I have some back pain".

These are all very obvious pains and discomforts that we may experience.

But if we look deeper into these, we'll find there is a spiritual reason behind them. And in revealing these, it will give us a very clear direction of what we may need to heal, change or modify in our lives.

Ask the deeper questions:

"What am I to gain from this?"

"What is the message within this situation from which I can learn, heal and grow?"

Hypothetical Scenario:

Just as a simple example, let’s say a guy falls off his motorbike, fractures his right wrist, and he just so happens to be right-handed.

He also is an excellent blogger and spends hours and hours behind the screen, researching, writing, throughly enjoying it, but at the expense of his personal health and well-being.

Perhaps most nights he is up to three, four o'clock in the morning, sleep deprived, not eating properly or getting any excercise.

Falling off the motorbike resulted in a fractured wrist, but it also put a temporary stop to his writing on the computer and therefore created a golden opportunity to go inside and honour his body a little bit more by doing some exercise, reducing his screen time and eating a healthy balanced diet.

There could be a beneficial lifestyle change in there, where there's more balance.

Everything happens for a reason!

Yes, write your blog, but also engage in other wellness and life enhancing activities.

The 'Universe, (you in a very cunning disguise), works in many strange ways!

Take a look at what might be happening in your life, explore it in the lives of others and see if you can uncover a spiritual reason, a root cause for any accident or illness present.

There is always one there.

Just awaiting the right question.

“Some people cannot be cured, but everyone can heal.”
